"At first, I only laughed at myself. Then I noticed that life itself is amusing. I’ve been in a generally good mood ever since." Marilyn Vos Savant twitter: @heyitsclaire
I didn’t realize how hard this week was until it was over. Then all of a sudden I was in the elevator Friday afternoon, late for dinner and reeling over the fact that I’d sent 800 emails in one day and not had a change to accomplish anything from my to-do list and I was ready for a panic attack. Days like those I’m so fortunate that I walk to work, that I had a 10 minute walk to cool off and physically exert the pent-up energy instead of raging at Atlanta traffic.

After a quick dinner my world was righted - rehashing dinner w/ Jen and then Annie + Kristina and old college friends. All that followed drinks and more well-deserved drinks with Em + Laura (not part of the Life Cleanse, which, by the way, has little meaning other than it sounds like I’m getting my life in order. Which, ok, I suppose I am) and way too many laughs.

And this morning KG brought me coffee, showed me this stupidly adorable video, and we watched Jersey Shore reruns, wherein I might have felt some feelings because of Vinny and how his anxiety kind of hit (embarrassingly) really close to home. No plans for this frigid day and exciting ones tonight.

These days you guys. They really are my favorite kind.
